Founded in 1967, Rothe has a storied history supporting the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) consecutively as a prime or subcontractor since 1978. Rothe became a WOMEN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (WOSB) in 1997 and today provides a diverse line of businesses including Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Software Development, Human Spaceflight Calibration, Mission Operation Training, Multimedia & Communication, and Commercial Calibration.

Our Services & Capabilities
Rothe has a long history of providing services and solutions to our customers at NASA, the Department of Defense (DoD), and worldwide commercial sectors.
Information Technology
We provide highly specialized mission-enabling spaceflight services to support NASA’s information technology system and legacy components, as well as provide advanced research and development in information technology. These services support Johnson Space Center, other centers and government organizations, international partners, and affiliate commercial enterprise partners.
Calibration & Metrology Lab
Our calibration laboratories have served in Texas for over 50 years. In that time, we have developed knowledge and skills yielding accreditations that have made us trusted partners in collaboration with our customers. We are one of the only Houston area commercial calibration laboratories to have achieved both ANSI/NCSL Z540.3 and ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
We provide commercial customers with reliable calibration and metrology services. We currently serve Texas and Louisiana and are always interested in discovering new opportunities.
Multimedia
Our Multimedia services are founded in the shadow of our many talented experts that work around all NASA centers. With our core group and an extended family of graphics and video professionals that we partner with from time-to-time, no job is too large or unusual for this diverse group. CCRM
The Rothe / ARES Joint Venture (ROAR) has been awarded the Missile Defense Agency TEAMS-Next Cybersecurity Compliance and Risk Management (CCRM) contract. As a woman-owned small business under the Small Business Administration (SBA) All Small Mentor/Protégé Program, ROAR comprises Rothe Development, Inc. and ARES Corporation.
ROAR will provide key cybersecurity services to the MDA under this effort including vulnerability assessments, software assurance, risk assessments, posture baseline assessments, and operational support.
